Alzheimer’s Disease is a devastating neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people across the world. It causes the gradual loss of memory and cognitive function, and is usually accompanied by other behavioural changes. Currently, there is no known cure for Alzheimer’s, but research is ongoing. Various medications, therapies, and lifestyle changes have been shown to improve symptoms and slow the disease’s progression. Through increased awareness, advocacy, and research, it is possible to improve the quality of life for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and their caretakers.
