Introduction to Karaj Midwifery
Karaj Midwifery is a non-profit organization established with the aim of improving the scientific and professional level of midwives and enhancing the quality of midwifery services provided to the community. The society was registered with the effort of an active and specialized group of midwives in various fields of midwifery and has been involved in extensive activities in educational, research, executive, and promotional fields since then.
Some of the objectives of Karaj Midwifery are:
– Supporting the rights and interests of mothers and infants in the field of midwifery
– Collaborating with government and private organizations and institutions in formulating and implementing midwifery-related programs and policies
– Holding conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses to improve the knowledge and skills of midwives
– Conducting and supporting research and publishing scientific articles in the field of midwifery
– Promoting a natural and healthy midwifery culture in the community
– Creating a network of collaboration between midwives and other members of the health care team.
Activities of Midwifery :
– Creating suitable grounds for exploring, attracting, and flourishing midwives’ scientific talents and innovations through collaborative activities.
– Deepening midwives’ scientific knowledge and insight through the skillful experience of experts, the scientific ability of academic members, and university facilities.
– Collaborating in meeting midwives educational, research, and specialized skill needs.
– Participating in the dissemination of science and promoting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scientific topics.
– Enhancing midwives’ specialized skills and promoting entrepreneurship according to the needs of the country.
– Voluntary and collective participation of midwives in scientific, and specialized activities with social, cultural, and charitable backgrounds.
– Promoting the culture of independence, scientific development, negation of dependence, and self-confidence of future generations.
Activities of Karaj midwives
The activities of scientific associations are chosen and voluntary in accordance with the guidelines for student scientific associations, and include the following:
- Empowerment: Scientific visits, tours, lectures, workshops, promotional courses, and contemplation.
- Dissemination of Science: Publication of scientific journals, multimedia content creation, and the creation of virtual pages and websites.
- Scientific Communication and Interaction: Membership in the appropriate scientific system or association, signing of memoranda to meet the needs of the association and its members, and communication with former member graduates of the association.
- Scientific Events: Participation and partnership in various scientific and skills competitions, participation in specialized conferences and seminars, scientific festivals, art exhibitions, science and technology, and honoring scientific figures.
- Research Activities: Implementation of research plans and participation in non-university research projects.
- Reflecting the activities and news of the association in local, national, and virtual media.
